Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Centralia, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Kaskaskia College reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or waive any bid irregularities. installing an asphalt patch and overlay on an existing concrete parking lot at the Agricultural Education Center. An Alternate is included for a concrete patch for the East Parking Lot near the truck driver training operations. A bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid is required. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of the bid if the project is greater than $150,000. Contractor shall pay not less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1- 12). All contractor's bonds shall include a provision that will guarantee the faithful performance of such prevailing wage clause as provided by the bid specification.
