Site work for a water / sewer project in Capac, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Village of Capac is requesting Bids for the construction of Water System Improvements. The project includes improvements at the Arsenic Plant and well improvements. Work at the Arsenic Plant includes filter media removal and replacement, tank coating, repairs, and improvements to backwash operation including addition of filter air scour grids, media retaining troughs, and piping modifications. Well improvement work includes abandonment of existing Well No. 3 and an addition of Well No. 8. Well No. 8 will consist of a new well pump, associated piping, electrical and SCADA improvements. A mixer and associated electrical upgrades will be added to the water tower. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. PROJECT LOCATION: Capac, St. Clair County, MI. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. The Village of Capac reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Capac.
