Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Birnamwood, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Town of Norrie is seeking bids for grinding present int asphalt, paving, and shouldering on Frederick Drive, between County Highway D and Mayflower Lane for a distance/width of 2,218 x 26 (20 paved travel width for both lanes with 3" paved shoulders each side). Work to include: Bid 1 Pulverize present asphalt, fine grading, water, shape, and compact the base course material. Bid 2-Pave 20' width for both lanes with WisDOT Spec. Type 4MT 58-28S asphalt mix compacted to an average thickness of 3 inches in two lifts. Apply tack coat prior to paving the surface course. Bid 3 Fumish WisDOT Spec. 3/4" dense-graded base course material for installing or building-up 3 unpaved shoulders each side for 2,218'. Bid 4 Sod removal and disposal where needed Bid 5-Addition of road base (350 tons of WisDOT-approved material) to widen the roadway to 24 All work and materials to meet Wisconsin DOT Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, 2022 Edition. An Engineer's Certification verifying that this project will add a minimum of ten (10) years to the useful life of the road is required. Project to be completed by September 30,2024.
