Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Proposed Improvement: Approximate quantities of work to include Sidewalk Removal and Replacement (36,000 SQ FT), Curb and Gutter Removal and Replacement (750 FT), Patching (25,000 SQ YD), HMA Bike Path Surface Course (500 TONS), Thermoplastic Pavement Marking (110,000 FT) with intermittent grooving, Modified Urethane Pavement Marking (6,500 FT), Crack Routing and Filling (41,000 FT), and other related items. The City encourages minority business firms to submit proposals and encourages the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. Question Deadline 06/07/2024 at 4:00 PM CT All questions should be received by the Purchasing Division, in writing at PurchasingDL@aurora.il.us. The City of Aurora has a local preference ordinance that would apply to this contract. Prequalification of Bidders as contained in Check Sheet LRS6 in the "Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions" is required on this project.
