Renovation of a municipal facility in Bristol, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

SF 48,576 The project is generally described as the removal of an existing roof membrane and rigid insulation and replaced with new single-ply roof membrane system on tapered rigid insulation. Roofing replacement will include but is not limited to removal of the existing roofing system down to the substrate and installing new membrane roofing system, scuppers and drains, lightning protection system (delegated design), roofing accessories and related repairs. This administration building is a three-story masonry clad structure located on an open lot. A five percent (5%) bid bond is required to accompany this bid. When required bid shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Failure to submit the bid bond on the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2 will result in the bid being considered non-responsive. (When bid bonds are requested, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bond.) The submission of a bid will be considered as conclusive evidence that the bidder has made such examination and/or is satisfied as to the conditions to be encountered in performing the work
