Russellville Waterline Relocation Project. Principal Work: 1. Approximately 1,000 L.F. of 2" Water Line Relocation 2. Water Meter Resets 3. Valve Box Reset 4. 350 L.F. of Directional Bore (Creek Crossing) The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 60 calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. The work of labor for Russellville Waterline Relocation Project Along Highway 243 - ALDOT Project No. BR-0243 (504) will be let under one Contract. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
