CRACK FILLING OF ROADS (2024) The Village of Waukesha requests lump sum, sealed bids for all material, labor, taxes, and Public Improvement Performance/Labor and Material Payment Bond costs to complete the Work for the referenced project. The Contract may be awarded at the meeting of the Village Board which is scheduled for June 13, 2024 beginning at 6:30 P.M. at the Village Hall. All Bidders are invited to attend. BID SECURITY Each bid must be accompanied by either of the following as a guarantee that the successful Bidder will execute the proposed Contract and provide the Public Improvement Performance/Labor and Material Payment Bond within ten (10) calendar days after the Award of Contract: 1) A certified check payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Base Bid; or, 2) A corporate surety bid bond in lieu of a certified check in the same amount. AWARD OF CONTRACT After the bids are opened, no bid can be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled time of closing bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make the award in a manner to best serve the interests of the Owner. WORK SCHEDULE The Contractor shall complete the Work on or before October 31, 2024. LETTING OF WORK The letting of the work described herein is made subject to the provisions of Section 61.54, 62.15 and 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes.
