The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. selective demolition and construction of a new ADA accessible playground and repaving of the existing tennis court area. To include installation of new fencing, ADA complaint walkways, site furnishing, playground equipment, safety surfacing, sport court surfacing and line striping, basketball hoops and a new water drinking fountain]. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required for the selective demolition and construction of a new ADA accessible playground and repaving of the existing tennis court area. To include installation of new fencing, ADA complaint walkways, site furnishing, playground equipment, safety surfacing, sport court surfacing and line striping, basketball hoops and a new water drinking fountain. Question Deadline: 06/06/2024 at 3:00 PM ET , location : online portal. Questions may be submitted through online Responses will be provided via online. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. This project is funded in part by PA DCED, Commonwealth Financing Authority and PA prevailing wage rates shall apply. The Borough of Hellertown reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
