All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards.Bidders need to be PennDOT Prequalified A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting must be scheduled on an INDIVIDUAL basis with the Director of Public Works, Barry Yonney at 484-221-2640 between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. It is the bidders responsibility to drive roads and view conditions prior to bidding. Contact Barry Yonney to schedule this . All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten(10%) percent of the bid made payable to Hellertown Borough. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract Questions and inquiries should be submitted electronically through online. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages will apply to this contract. however the borough reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Municipality.
