Sealed bids are requested for the "2026 Road Paving" project on various roads in Hellertown Borough. All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards, and bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the contract award. A mandatory pre-bid meeting must be scheduled individually with the Director of Public Works by the specified date. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages apply. The borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or portions, delete projects or portions depending on budgetary constraints, and waive any technicalities in the best interest of the municipality.
