Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hellertown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, equipment, oversight, permits, and inspections required to sawcut and remove concrete curb and sidewalk for replacement, remove chain link fencing and baseball field equipment; construct/install new concrete curb and sidewalk, crosswalks, asphalt walkways, baseball dugouts, benches, and bleachers, backstop and fencing, pre-fabricated gazebo, signage, site furnishings, and landscaping. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. The Borough of Hellertown reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
