Renovation of a fire / police facility in Eustis, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The City of Eustis is requesting bids to purchase and install a 60-kW permanent natural gas generator. The generator shall be installed on the existing concrete pad, including an automatic transfer switch, and electrical connections. Currently, there is an old generator with problems that require constant maintenance and needs to be replaced due to its age. The existing generator is ~ 21 years old and has exceeded its lifespan leaving the building unprotected from loss of power. It will need to removed and placed elsewhere at the station. Fire Station 22 must have backup power to ensure the continuity of city emergency response operations. The project shall allow the city to maintain the fire station operational during future power outages.
