**As of June 27, 2024 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on July 1st, 2024.** North Park Street Shared Use Path Project A Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code which shall be either a certified check payable to the City of Oberlin, or a bid bond satisfactory to the City, in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the price bid . Contractor shall furnish performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract award amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of all Contractors obligations under Contract Documents. It is anticipated that a Notice to Proceed will be issued on or before July 12, 2024. The project must be completely installed in accord with the time period stated in the Bid Form. The owner intends and requires that this project be substantially completed no later than November 8, 2024. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the City Engineer Randall Roberts, PE 85 South Main Street, Oberlin, OH 44074 rroberts@cityofoberlin.com. The City of Oberlin reserves the right to accept the lowest and/or best bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to enter into the contract which, in the sole judgment of the City, will best suit the Citys needs.
