Renovation of a water / sewer project in Oberlin, Ohio. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

As of 6/13/2024 Owner did not have any bidders. No further information this time, Water Treatment Plant Filter Media Replacement Project Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code which shall be either a certified check payable to the City of Oberlin, or a bid bond satisfactory to the City, in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the price bid. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be substantially completed no later than September 30, 2024. The final completion date is October 15, 2024. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in duplicate by e-mail to Marvin Gnagy at pmgconsulting710@gmail.com and to William Albrecht at walbrecht@cityofoberlin.com. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the City as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening the Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The City of Oberlin reserves the right to accept the lowest and/or best bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to enter into the contract which, in the sole judgment of the City, will best suit the City's needs.
