Garfield County Public Works solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Roadway Design, Structural Design, Environmental Engineering, Material Testing, Construction Inspection, Construction Management and Land Surveying for various spot improvement projects and other public works projects throughout the county involving local, state and federal funding. Annual contracts may be awarded for Materials Testing and Surveying services. Submittals should include the following information: Firm name, phone and fax number; Name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager; Number of employees in each firm; and a completed submittal Information Form as per Appendix 31.94 of the WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines. Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria: Key personnel; 2) Firm experience; 3) Ability to meet schedule; 4) past performance /references; 5) in-house expertise; 6) familiarity with WSDOT/FHWA standards; 7) Ability to provide M/WBE participation. Double rating will be given to criteria #2. Responses will be accepted throughout the entire year. Garfield County encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned consultant firms to respond.
