The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Walla Walla District intends to issue a construction solicitation for a project titled Lower Monumental Dam and Lower Granite Dam Stilling Basins Sediment Removal. The work is located at the following dams in the Walla Walla District: Lower Monumental and Lower Granite. The dams are in located in Washington State along the Snake River at river miles 41.6 and 107.5 respectively. This will be a firm-fixed-price construction contract. The magnitude of construction for both the Lower Monumental and Lower Granite projects is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. 100% performance and payment bonds will be required. The government expects to award one contract in September 2024 with an expected period of performance of 15 December 2024 through 28 February 2025 for Lower Monumental and Lower Granite.
