PROJECT TITLE: LOWER GRANITE INTAKE GATE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM UPGRADES PROJECT LOCATION: LOWER GRANITE DAM Please see attached , amendment 0001, amendment 0002, amendment 0003, technical specifications, technical specifications amendment 0003, techncial specifications amendment 0004, plans, plans resource, brand name justifications and approvals, and attendance list. IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 36.204(F) DISCLOSURE OF THE MAGNITUDE OF ION PROJECTS, THE ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE OF THIS PROJECT IS BETWEEN 10,000,000 AND 25,000,000. PID- 494609 Delivery Period From 13 Aug 2025 to 30 Apr 2028 The work covered by this contract includes the removal and replacement of the intake gate hydraulics system. The work breakdown includes, but is not limited to, the following items. See other SECTIONS for additional detail: a. Provide 19 new hydraulic cylinders assemblies (including cathodic protection system): 18 cylinder assemblies to be installed in gate slots plus one additional cylinder assembly that will be placed into long term storage as a spare. b. Provide 19 new support beams and associated installation hardware. c. Provide 18 new stub piston rod and coupling assemblies. d. Provide a new hydraulic power unit assembly which consists of two power units and one pressurization unit, including new motor starters, breakers, and other electrical and control components. e. Provide new high and low pressure hydraulic fluid header piping system. f. Provide 6 new main unit hydraulic control stations, inclusive of all new electrical and control components. g. Provide 3 new accumulator tanks located in the pipe gallery. h. Provide approximately 9150 gallons of new hydraulic fluid. i. Provide a new hydraulic fluid reservoir tank including the installation of one off-line oil filtration system and fire barrier. j. Provide 18 new gate position indicating systems. k. Add gate closure switches to the control room main unit switchboards. l. Provide cable and conduit for system power, controls and annunciation. . Remove and dispose of existing: 1) 5 hydraulic cylinders 2) 5 support beams 3) 18 gate position indicating systems 3) Hydraulic power unit 4) High and low pressure headers 5) 6 main unit hydraulic control stations 6) Approximately 4000 gallons of hydraulic fluid. 7) Electrical and control equipment associated with the above items. 8) Gate position indication equipment not reused. OF WORK Lower Granite Lock and Dam is located approximately 12 miles southeast of Pullman, WA, and bridges Whitman and Garfield counties. Work will occur on the Intake Deck of the Powerhouse, the pipe gallery just below the Intake Deck, and in the gate storage pit. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
