The County of Chester, Department of Facilities, is requesting Proposals from certified and qualified firms who have the necessary expertise to design recommendations5 for the yard enclosures the Chester County Prison located at 501 South Wawaset Road, West Chester, PA 19382. Firms submitting proposals must have a least five (5) years of demonstrated experience with providing similar services. This is the only opportunity for prospective Proposers to view the Facility. This will also be the only time to view the technical drawings as they cannot be released publicly for security purposes. Failure to attend the pre-bid conference and site visit/walk through, shall constitute acceptance by the bidder of all pre-existing site conditions and shall constitute a waiver of all future claims with regards to said site conditions. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the RFP scope of services. Security upgrades include enclosing four exterior yards and two (2) interior yards with anti-climb welded wire fencing. 2.2.2 Design recommendation of the enclosure fencing, fencing structural system and integration of structure to building and perimeter yard fence. 2.2.3 The proposed recommendation will address County requirements as well as the remediation of the County concerns and current issues.
