The materials and accessories will be used for installation of 16 fire hydrant assemblies on District waterlines within unincorporated areas of El Dorado County in South Lake Tahoe, California by District crews. After electronic bidding, only upon District request, each bidder shall submit their original Bid Forms to South Tahoe Public Utility District at 1275 Meadow Crest Drive, South Lake Tahoe, California by 4 P.M. on June 28, 2024. Bids shall be valid for 60 calendar days after the bid opening date, as required in the Bid Form. Questions or comments regarding this bid must be submitted electronically via our electronic bidding system and must be received by the District no later than 4 o'clock p.m. on June 18, 2024. Questions and comments received after the date indicated will not be accepted. Phone calls, emails and faxes will not be accepted. Responses from the District will be communicated via the electronic bidding system. The South Tahoe Public Utility District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the best interest of the District. If alternate bid items are called for in the Contract Documents, the lowest responsive, responsible bid will be determined on the basis of the Base Bid plus alternate.
