Demolition and site work for a residential development in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish/provide demolition services for the structure(s) located at 1030 25th Street and 1300 25th Street. Contractor is responsible for removal and legal disposal of all asbestos-containing material, if present and/or identified in the specifications, removal and legal disposal of all personal property from within the structure(s), demolition of the structure(s), removal and legal disposal of all debris, and clearing, grading and seeding of the areas disturbed per these specifications for the demolition of 1030 25th Street, Newport News, VA 23607 and 1300 25th Street, Newport News, VA 23607. There is not a pre-bid conference scheduled for this project. The City reserves the right to require the successful Contractor to provide a performance bond and labor and material payment bond before award of this project. Where prompted in the Questionnaire, Bidder shall state the total cost of these bonds that would be passed on to the City, should the City decide to require them. The City reserves the right to conduct any test it may deem advisable and make all evaluations. The City also reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, to award whole or in part, and to waive informalities prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed to be in its best interest.
