Furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Arrow Lumber Culvert Replacement. This project includes removing and replacing an existing 60-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) arch culvert with a new 60-inch Dual Wall CPEP storm pipe. Scope of Work: The work specified in this Section consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the Arrow Lumber Culvert Replacement, as shown on the Plans, and hereinafter specified. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: A. Complete required erosion control, clearing, and grubbing. B. Remove and wastehaul existing 60-inch arch cmp culvert, asphalt, and fencing. C. Furnish and install 60-inch dual wall CPEP culvert. D. Complete required excavation, grading, backfill, and compaction. E. Restore all surfaces disturbed by construction activities. Install required fencing Engineer's Estimate $90,000 The Work shall be substantially complete within 25 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Ocean Shores, Washington. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Ocean Shores" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Ocean Shores, Washington. The City of Ocean Shores expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal. The successful Bidder shall provide an executed Performance Bond and Public Works Payment Bond for the full Contract amount (including sales tax)
