These services will be completed by the end of October 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of Swansea, ("Owner") is seeking the services of a qualified Designer as defined in Massachusetts General laws Chapter 7C, Section 44 and as further defined by the provisions of this RFS, to provide Designer Services for the design, construction, Joseph Case Junior High School in Swansea, Massachusetts ("Project"). The Owner is requesting the services of a Designer to partner with the Owner during the feasibility study and schematic design phases of the project initially. Subject to the approval of the project by the Massachusetts School Building Authority ("MSBA") and further subject to continued funding authorized by the Owner, the contract between the Owner and the Designer may be amended to include Designer Services through design development, construction documents, bid and award, construction, and final closeout of the potential project. A potentially approved project may include a renovation of the existing School, renovation and addition of the existing school and/or new construction. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the RFS, to reject any or all or to accept any RFS which it deems to be in the best interest of the district. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
