The Swansea Water District invites sealed bids for "Locust Street Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation", in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by BETA GROUP, INC., 701 George Washington Highway, Lincoln, RI, 02865. The work in this Contract includes: Cleaning and coating complete exterior of the existing tank as specified, Cleaning complete interior of the existing tank and coating as specified, Replacement of the existing ladder and fall arrest systems, Installation of cathodic protection system, Installation of passive mixing system, Installation of associated appurtenances. The Contractor shall begin work within 30 calendar days of receipt of a Notice to Proceed. This contract shall be completed within 160 days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed.
