Site work for a road / highway in Saugus, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Removal of existing damaged guardrail sections, and the installation of new guardrails. The total guardrail totals approximately 775 feet . Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Prospective bidders are required to submit all questions in writing to Brendan O'Regan, DPW Director, at boregan@saugus-ma.gov by 10:00 AM on Wednesday June 26, 2024. Any questions received after this time will not be considered for review by the Town. Project Description The work description included in the Bid will include the removal of existing damaged guardrail sections, and the installation of new replacement guardrail and associated end treatments at up to ten (10) locations in Saugus, MA, and the installation of new guardrail at up to four (4) locations in Saugus, MA. Total guardrail quantity totals approximately 775 feet. All guardrail work associated with the Bid shall use Guardrail items 620.12 TL-2 (Single Faced) and 620.13 TL-3 (Single Faced). The guardrail locations will be confirmed by the City upon award of contract.
