AJSD Sewer Replacement. The bids will be used by the District to award a Contract for the construction of the Work which consists in part of the following: Apache Junction Sewer District seeks bidders to relocate and replace sewer infrastructure located at the Central Arizona College (CAC), Superstition Mountain Campus (SMC) in Apache Junction, Arizona found in the southeast corner of Idaho Rd and Apache Trail. With additional development currently in progress, this requires the removal/abandonment of approximately 450 Linear feet of existing 8-inch sewer main and replacing the portion of sewer main with a new 10-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sewer main with a standard dimension ratio (SDR) of 35; and the reconnection of sewer services to one existing building. Further details can be found on the District website by visiting www.ajsewer.org. Based on a Notice to Proceed date of June 26, 2024, this project must be completed by August 16, 2024. Q/A- Where a plan, specification or document appears ambiguous, or where any portion is not fully understood, the Contractor shall submit his question by email to bids@ajsewer.org. The subject line of the email must reference the Project Number and Name as denoted on the Notice and Call for Bids. Verbal explanations shall not be binding.
