Furnishing and installing a new electric service at 206 Central Street, including generator backup and an outdoor auto-transfer switch. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The contractor shall furnish and install a new electric system at 206 Central Street, including generator backup and an outdoor auto-transfer switch. The project cost is estimated at $170,000. DCAMM certification is required Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing and installing a new electric service at 206 Central, including generator backup. As part of this project, contractor shall run two (5") conduits from the existing transformer pad to the new riser pole. This work will require breaking into the existing transformer pad. Norwood Light Department (NLD) will work with the contractor to de-energize the transformer and remove it during construction. Please note that this work must be completed within one week. There CANNOT be an outage to the building for any reason. 1.2 The generator pad, conduits, and placement of the generator must be completed prior to either of the existing transformers being de-energized. The generator shall be wired into the Auto Transfer Switch (ATS) and tested to confirm that it is working properly. Upon completion of the generator test, then NLD shall de-energize the transformer so the transformer pad can be worked upon.
