Site work for a water / sewer project in Norwood, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Cleaning and Lining Water Mains. The proposed work includes a Base Bid for cleaning and cement mortar lining of approximately sixteen thousand seven hundred (16,700) linear feet of 6-inch and 8-inch cast iron water pipe. The work includes bypass piping, new cement lined ductile iron pipe extensions or connections, valves, hydrants, hydrant branches, appurtenances, water service replacements with copper piping, traffic control, and trench paving. The proposed work also includes a Bid Alternate for cleaning and cement mortar lining of approximately five thousand three hundred (5,300) linear feet of 6-inch cast iron water pipe. The work includes bypass piping, new cement lined ductile iron pipe extensions or connections, valves, hydrants, hydrant branches, appurtenances, water service replacements with copper piping, traffic control, and trench paving. Question Deadline 04/02/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
