The purpose of this IFB is to provide the Authority with proposals for the hauling of leachate from the landfill site located at 225 Landfill Rd. Buena Vista, VA 24416, to the Maury Service Authority located at 135 Bob Akins Circle, Lexington, VA 24450, or other preapproved treatment facility. The Blue Ridge Resource Authority is requesting bids from qualified contractors for services of leachate hauling from the Authority's landfill, located at 225 Landfill Road, Buena Vista, VA 24416, to the Maury Service Authority's wastewater treatment plant, located at 135 Bob Akins Circle, Lexington, VA 24450. The distance between the loading station at the landfill, and offloading area at the treatment facility, is approximately 6.6 miles. The facility has good access for a 6,500 gallon tanker with road tractor. Contractors are also required to include an additional per gallon price for hauling to an alternate treatment facility located at 301 West 10th Street, Buena Vista, VA 24416. The offeror is responsible for clarifying any ambiguity, conflict, discrepancy, omission, or other error in the IFB or it shall be deemed waived. Owner Rights: The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bids that are not responsive and responsible and to waive any informality or irregularity not affected by law. Additionally, the Authority reserves the right to utilize all, any, or none of the services offered in a Bid submitted in response to this IFB
