Maple Avenue Sanitary Sewer, Manhole and Lateral Reconstruction (including Water Services), Central Avenue to 16th Street: The Maple Avenue Sanitary Reconstruction work will generally include sawing, separating, removal, and hauling of existing pavement; excavation; removal of existing mains/manholes/laterals/etc.; installation of new/replacement mains/manholes/laterals/water services/etc.; backfilling and compacting; hauling and disposal of surplus and/or unsuitable material; loading, hauling and placing crushed concrete base material; along with traffic control, erosion control, etc. This project does not include repair or replacement of street pavement, curb & gutter, driveways, sidewalks, etc. Contractor is advised that work by others may be occurring concurrently with the scoped project work, including but not limited to water main replacement by Marshfield Utilities, replacement of gas mains and services, replacement/patching of street pavement/curb & gutter/driveway/sidewalk/etc. by the City of Marshfield Department of Public Works - Street Division; replacement of private-side sanitary sewer laterals by private plumbers; etc. Maple Avenue will be closed to through traffic (without detour) for this reconstruction, however, driveway access shall be maintained to each property at the end of each day.
