The Town of Chesapeake Beach is seeking turnkey bids for labor, materials, and installation of visual interventions on roadways (intersections and crosswalks) and in pedestrian spaces (recreational areas) also known as 'street art'. While the Town is eager to hear how the State of Maryland will potentially consider adding visual interventions on the State Highway to slow traffic, the Town currently seeks to make improvements through this RFP within Town owned assets. The purpose of the project is to both beautify the Town's amenities and to slow traffic flow to improve safety. The Town is focused on reimagining Town roadways to improve street safety, revitalize public spaces, and bring the community together. Citizen and business engagement is an important component to the project. The final design and product should be reflective of the beauty and strong sense of community felt in the Town of Chesapeake Beach.
