The Town of Chesapeake Beach (the Town) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek proposals for an electrical contractor to remove sixty (60) high-pressure sodium light fixtures and furnish and install new LED fixtures, including all labor, materials, equipment and related incidentals at the Chesapeake Beach WRTP (the WRTP). The Town is attempting to reduce the power demands at the WRTP by installing more energy-efficient exterior lighting. Contract Type: Fixed Price Contract Contract Duration: One Time 2.1.1 This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks an electrical contractor to remove sixty-three (63) high-pressure sodium light fixtures and furnish and install new LED fixtures, including all labor, materials, equipment and related incidentals at the Chesapeake Beach ("the Town") Wastewater Reclamation and Treatment Plant (the WRTP). The intent of this project is to reduce the power demands at the WRTP by installing more energy-efficient exterior lighting. 2.1.2 The Contract resulting from this solicitation shall be a fixed price contract . 2.1.3 The Contract that results from this solicitation shall commence as of the date the Contract is signed by the Town. 2.1.4 The Town intends to make a single award as a result of this RFP. 2.1.5 Bidders must be able to provide all services and meet all the requirements requested in this solicitation and the successful Bidder (the Contractor) shall remain responsible for Contract performance regardless of subcontractor participation in the work. 2.1.6 The Town expects the work to be complete in 30 days from the start date.
