The Trenton R-IX School District is requesting proposals for replacement of entry doors and windows insulated with tempered glass. The Trenton R-IX School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or to accept the proposal that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the school district. Site Location: Trenton High School, Trenton Middle School, & SM Rissler Elementary All doors to be wide style double lite with standard thermally improved framing and typical commercial hardware. Continuous hinges surface closers (LCN), panic devices, trim handles. All new doors to have Von Duprin keyed removable center mullions on all aluminum frame doors. Each door will have a Von Duprin 99 QDL electrified panic with power supply and armored cable. All glass will be insulated with tempered glass and will have 1/2" Entry guard EG# interlayer clear 5/32 cleared tempered glass. Each IG (insulated unit) will color match the existing windows. All equipment, sealants, fasteners, etc. included complete installation. All measurements to be field verified by contractor. Please see site map for door locations and sizes at middle school and elementary. Contractor will disconnect and reconnect all access controls during the removal and installation of selected door locations. Any glass above 7'does not need to be laminated glass. Door frames will be caulked on interior and exterior after installation is complete. Contractor to be responsible for keying new doors to existing school keys. Contractor to remove and dispose of selected doors to be replaced. Remove hollow metal doors and frames in Ag shop and replace with wide style aluminum store front frame and doors with keyed removable mullions. Doors should have a 10"mid-rail with upper and lower panels in place of glass.
