Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Torrington, Wyoming. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work is described in the plans and specifications and on the bid schedule, and consists of the following major quantities (approximately): - Remove Bituminous Pavement 774 SY - Remove Concrete Pavement 767 SY - Concrete Sidewalk 717 SF - 30" Curb & Gutter, Type A 58 LF - Concrete Pavement (6") 1,367 SY Bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided in accordance with the contract documents. "...the contract shall be let to the responsible certified resident making the lowest bid if the certified resident's bid is not more than five percent (5%) higher than that of the lowest responsible nonresident bidder." (WY Statute 16-6-102) "Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery, and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state." (WY Statute 16-6-106).\ General: Contractor shall remove all existing paving, sidewalk, and curb and gutter within the construction limits. Minimal grading will be required and the areas shall be recompacted. New curb and gutter and driveways will be constructed to be ADA accessible, and the parking lots will be repaved with concrete. Parking lots will be striped and new signs installed. B. The project name is "Library & Foundation Parking Lots Repaving" as shown on Contract Documents prepared by BENCHMARK OF TORRINGTON, P.C. C. The work included under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, operations, materials, accessories, equipment, and incidentals indicated, specified, mentioned, scheduled, or implied on the Contract Documents for work on each project in its entirety. The Contractor shall obtain and pay all costs incurred for permits, fees, bonds, sales taxes, and other taxes incidental to the contract even if not specifically addressed in these contract documents. D. Omissions from the drawings or specifications of details of work which are necessary to carry out the intent of the drawings and specifications, or which are customarily performed, shall not relieve the Contractor from performing such details of the work. Question Deadline 06/24/2024 Questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda and sent only to those parties recorded by Engineer on the Plan Holder's List. Questions received less than three business days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or schedules, and to waive minor irregularities and formalities therein, and to award the contract in whole or in part in the best interest of the Owner. ***Document Notes: Bid documents may be inspected at the above listed office from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
