As of October 1, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for constructing the Granada Blvd. Streetscape Sidewalk Banding Repair Includes three (3) Streetscape Districts (Uptown, Downtown & Beachside) This project requires installation of shell concrete pavers on a rigid base and the contractor must be ICPI certified and have a minimum ten (10) years-experience installing projects with concrete pavers with verifiable references. See the bid tab, section 00300 for further details. The work consists of removing all the existing concrete pavers banding within the streetscape and replacing the banding with shell concrete pavers on a rigid base. Other work includes but not limited to removal of the existing on-grade planters, tree grate and planter box concrete patches, broken curb, irrigation removal/capping and cracked/deteriorated concrete panels. These different areas will be re-worked as per the approved plans, specifications and Invitation to Bid. This project will include a base bid and two (2) alternates. The Downtown District will be the base bid which would include the mobilization for the project including the alternates. The two (2) alternates will be the Uptown and Beachside Districts as detailed in the Bid Tab. The deadline for submitting questions is July 9, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
