Renovation of a municipal facility in Danville, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of November 5, 2025 bids received for this project were over the budget and was rejected. This project is abandoned. Roof replacement at the Street Barn at 602 W. Mahoning Proposals must be on forms furnished by the Danville Borough. Bids may be held by Danville Borough for up to 30 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. Danville Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts. The project includes: Mobilization Obtain all necessary construction permits. Install all OSHA approved temporary fall protection equipment. Remove existing roof and dispose of asbestos per State regulations. Adhere new A" HD coverboard insulation or equivalent. Install new adhered 60 mil metal roofsystem. Install new aluminum drip edge. Install new fascia board wrapped in aluminum. Install new aluminum 4" gutter and downspouts. Asbestos safety protocol coordination with Street Department. Upon completion, the roofwill be inspected and a 30-year water tight warranty will be issued. Questions can be directed to Barry Koser by calling (570) 441-2165.
