Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Willington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work encompasses the regrading of the southerly portion of the River Road Athletic Complex, temporary removal and resetting of various field equipment and facilities, installation of new underdrains, reconstruction of an existing walkway, removal of existing and installation of new chain link fence along the south end of the field, removal of existing and installation of new wooden guardrails along the existing access road and edge of field, installation of new field lighting and accessory underground conduits, replacement of existing electrical boxes and appurtenant work. The Town of Willington reserves the right to reject any or all bids, should the Town deem it to be in the public interest to do so, or to modify the scope of any work in order to bring the cost within available funds. Each bid submitted must be accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total amount of the tendered bid and made payable to the order of the Town of Willington. The Contractor awarded the work will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond
