Site work for a water / sewer project in Mattoon, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Mattoon is accepting bids for the construction of approximately 8,555 Lineal Feet of 8"" force main and 18"" gravity sewer main. The work is located from west of Swords Drive along Remington Road (south side) to Dettro Drive, then south along the east side of Dettro Drive to Wooddell Way, then west to Odd Fellow Road, then turning south along the west side of Odd Fellow Road to Country Club Road and then heading west to the Mattoon Sanitary Plant. The work includes open trench and/ or directional boring construction. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The right is reserved to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. Questions Bidders should address all questions concerning the project using the City of Mattoon's Beacon Bidding software. The last day for questions is July15, 2024, at 12:00 PM. Only those questions addressed in a written addendum to all bidders shall be considered to modify these bid specificatio
