Renovation of an educational facility in Mattoon, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of removing and replacing the existing 350 ton air cooled chiller, and the associated base mounted chilled water pumps at the Mattoon High School. Work includes modifying the existing concrete pad, the 8 chilled water piping, and the electrical and control feeds to the chiller. Award of a contract is anticipated to occur at the August 13, 2024 meeting of the Board of Education. Begin construction on June 2, 2025. The Work shall be Substantially Complete on or before August 1, 2025. Bonds are required: Both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Payment Bond are required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The project consists of removing and replacing the existing 350 ton air cooled chiller, and the associated base mounted chilled water pumps at the Mattoon High School. Work includes modifying the existing concrete pad, the 8 chilled water piping, and the electrical and control feeds to the chiller. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the owner All questions to be submitted to A/E by end of business Wednesday, July 31, 2024. If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
