Ref. #: 2024-24 The Town of Palm Beach ("TOWN") is seeking qualifications from professional traffic engineering consultant(s) to provide consulting services for the Town of Palm Beach on an "as needed" basis. The intent of this "Request for Qualifications" is for the Town to potentially select one or more Applicant Firm(s) capable of providing the Traffic Engineering Consultant Services specified herein. Services shall include, but will not be limited to town wide traffic analysis, traffic counts, review of island ingress/egress roadways, review of FDOT bridge operations, intersection review, assistance to staff pertaining to development review matters, service as expert witness for the Town, review of parking needs of for the Town, review of public parking control and regulation activities, analysis of proposed transportation planning activities, traffic engineering consequences of new development in adjacent communities, assessment of traffic impacts for proposed new structures and provision of traffic engineering services associated with the goals, objectives and policies associated with the Transportation Element of the Town's Comprehensive Plan. The Town requests that firms awarded this RFQ for Traffic Engineering Services do not perform similar services for other entities or individuals in the Town of Palm Beach. No proposer may withdraw their proposals for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days from the date set for the opening thereof. Award shall be made to the Proposer(s) which offers the best value to the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive non-material irregularities or technicalities and to re-advertise for all or any part of this solicitation as deemed in its best interest. The Town shall be the sole judge of its best interest.
