The City of Baltimore Office of Boards and Commissions has been requested by the Department of Recreation and Parks (BCRP), Capital Development and Planning Division, to advertise for Historical Architectural Design Consultants to provide on-call services for the City of Baltimore. The work will include planning, design, and preparation of construction documents necessary for the renovations and improvements of various historic City facilities, park buildings and other miscellaneous projects. The City intends to select the services of two (2) consultants. The Consultant teams to include but not limited to Building Architects, Landscape Architects, Surveyors, Archeologists, Archivists, Community Engagement Professionals, and Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Geotechnical Engineers. The consultant firms interested in providing these services must demonstrate the following: . Experience in rehabilitation of historic buildings and park structures with sensitivity to historic forms and context. . Experience in design of historic park and open spaces in an urban setting. . Familiarity with International Green Construction Code. . Experience in preparation of reports which includes field investigations, feasibility studies and cost estimates. . Experience in providing Archeological Investigations. . Experience with Archive and Document Management. . Experience in research-based creative strategies for community outreach. Each contract will be limited to an estimated fee of $4,000,000. The contract duration will be three years with an option to extend for an additional one (1) year term. BCRP reserves the right to have a second interview with eligible firms. Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) participation goals apply to this contract. The MBE goal is 25.30% The WBE goal is 20.70% Both the proposed Minority and Women's Business Enterprise firms must be named and identified as an MBE or WBE within Item 6 of the Standard Form (SF) 255 in the spaces provided for identifying outside key consultants/associates anticipated for utilization for this project.
