Completed plans call for the demolition of a 7,600-square-foot, two-story above grade water / sewer project; for the construction of a 13,955-square-foot, two-story above grade water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and bridge / tunnel.

The City of Tamarac, FL is hereby requesting Proposals, from qualified Contractors, for the construction of the Water Treatment Control Building Project. The proposed project site is an 8.9 (more or less), acre lot located at 7803 NW 61 St., Tamarac, FL 33321. The general scope of the project includes the following components: o The project will include bid packages A, B & C. o Bid package A includes the construction of a new 13,955 SF, 2 story Water Treatment Plant Control Building, utility connections, drainage improvements, landscaping, site security improvements, new parking lots, site perimeter walls, fencing and demolition of the existing Water Treatment Control Building. o Upon obtaining a TCO for the new Water Treatment Control Building, demolition of the existing 2 story 7600SF Water Treatment Control Building can be started. o Upon completion of the demolition work, phase 2 sitework and walkway bridge can be constructed. o Package B includes the construction of 3 smaller buildings and upgrades to the water treatment plant equipment, control systems and electrical equipment. o MCC/SCADA Building, Fluoride Building, NaOCl improvements, o Yard piping and mechanical process piping upgrades o Chemical Feed System Upgrades o New Sanitary Sewer System and Lift Station o Abandonment of existing lift stations o Structural/Arch improvements associated with each process o Electrical improvements and upgrades o I/C, New SCADA System inclusive of Audit & Necessary Upgrades o Sludge Lagoon Pond upgrades o Bid package C includes the demolition of existing package filters 1 and 2 and a 4MG clarifier and replacing them with a new 10 MGD filter structure.
