Renovation of an educational facility in Covington, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Alleghany Highlands School Board is seeking sealed bids for the installation of two new HVAC rooftop units to supply heat and air for two former shop areas in Covington Middle School. The bid is for a complete turnkey project, including all permitting, materials, and labor to place units, power feed, gas line connection, and roofing work. Period of Contract: June 26, 2024 - August 7, 2024 All inquiries, questions, and requests for information should be directed in writing to: Melinda Snead Johnson, Assistant Superintendent ( Melinda.sjohnson@ahps.k12.va.us ) and Rebecca Irvine, Director of Finance ( Rebecca.irvine@ahps.k12.va.us ) at 100 Central Cir. Low Moor, VA 24426. Alleghany Highlands School Board (AHSB), specifically reserves the right to enter into a non-exclusive contract or contracts with one or more firms responding to this Request for Proposal (RFP)/Invitation for Bid (IFB) for all or part of the Project referenced herein and/or to negotiate with the selected Offeror in order to best serve the needs of AHSB, in respect both to cost and effectiveness. AHSB, also specifically reserves the right not to enter into a Contract with any firm responding to this RFP, but rather to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities, and/or in its sole discretion, to re-advertise for proposals for any part or all of the project referenced in this RFP.
