The project includes but is not limited to removing and replacing the two (2) existing hot water storage tanks for the Carson City Health and Human Services building located at 900 E Long Street in Carson City, NV. Question Deadline 06/26/2024 at 11:00 AM PT Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a Cashiers check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond acceptable to Carson City in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Bidder Base Bid Proposal. The City reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid received, and to reject any or all Bids. In the case of rejection of all Bids, the City reserves the right to advertise for new Bids or to proceed to do the Work otherwise if, The parties agree that the Scope of Work will be specifically described and hereinafter referred to as the "WORK." This Contract incorporates the following attachments, and a CONTRACTOR'S attachment shall not contradict or supersede any CITY specifications and/or terms or conditions without written evidence of mutual assent to such change appearing in this Contract. The Contractor shall maintain a hot water supply to the facility throughout the duration of the project by providing a temporary water heater during times the existing or new water heaters are not in use. An executed contract is anticipated by 8/1/2024. The Notice to Proceed to Construction may be delayed and a Material Notice to Proceed may be issued if the Contractor informs the City of significant lead times for material. The successful Bidder, upon becoming the Contractor after having entered into a Contract with the City, shall commence the Work to be performed under the Contract on the date set by the City in the written Notice to Proceed, continuing the Work in accordance with the approved schedule and shall complete the entire Work by and within 20 working days.
