The Project includes the following Work: Approximately 2,900 feet of all-terrain vehicle trail construction on and re-routing an existing snowmobile trail including: 1750 L.F. Silt Fence 650 S.Y. Erosion Mat, Class 1, Type B Urban 10 L.F. 24 Inch Dia RCP Class 4 Storm Sewer 1 E.A. Remove & Reinstall Apron Endwall 286 C.Y. Medium Rip Rap 525 S.Y. Geotextile Fabric, Type HR 1 L.S. Unclassified Excavation (Includes Removals) 39 STA. Prepare foundation for Base Aggregate 4,000 S.Y. 6 Inch Thick Aggregate Base, 3/4 Inch 775 S.Y. 2 Inch Thick Asphaltic Surface No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. This project is receiving funding through the Recreational Trails Program (Federally Funded). We encourage Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), and Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit bid proposals. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates.
