As of August 16, 2024 project was awarded to Crossroads Asphalt Recycling, awarded amount is $957,655.75. for the 2024 Annual Asphalt Repair Program, Contract 2024.08 within the City of Solon, in accordance with Plans and Specifications as prepared by John J. Busch PE, City Engineer, 34200 Bainbridge Road, Solon, Ohio 44139. All Proposals must be made on the original forms provided in the bid document book or as revised formally by an addendum. Each bid must be in strict compliance with all conditions and specifications. In order for a proposal to be considered for contract award, a complete set of plans, specifications and Contract Documents must be obtained from the location described above. Each Proposal must contain the name of each person, firm, or corporation interested in the same and must be accompanied by a bid guaranty meeting the conditions of Section A 1:08 of the Contract Documents. Should any bid be rejected, such check will be returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned upon proper execution and securing of the Contract. No bidder may withdraw his Proposal within sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive all informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable to the City. The City of Solon does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age and disabled status in employment or provision of service. The Scope of Work is covered generally in the Specifications and on the Drawings listed in the Index to Drawings. It is intended that the CONTRACTOR furnish all material, equipment, machinery, apparatus, tools and labor, and install all equipment specified for the CONTRACT unit prices or lump sum prices, as stated in his Proposal. All work that may be called for in the Specifications and not shown on the Drawings or shown on the Drawings and not called for in the Specifications shall be executed and furnished by the CONTRACTOR, as is described in both these ways; and should any work or material be required, which is not defined in the Specifications or Drawings either directly or indirectly, but which is nevertheless necessary to properly carry out the intent thereof, the CONTRACTOR is to understand the things to be implied and required, and shall perform all such work and furnish any such material as fully as if they were particularly delineated or described
