Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hagerstown, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
SCOPE OF WORK: This project entails the installation of handicapped ramps, concrete alley entrance aprons, mobilization, traffic control, and other related items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the latest Maryland State Highway Specifications, unless directed to use City of Hagerstown Standards. NO pre-bid conference is planned. Please direct questions to Jim Bender, 301-739-8577, ext. 124 or e-mail jbender@hagerstownmd.org by no later than August 9, 2024, 4:00 p.m. LENGTH OF CONTRACT: Forty (40) working days is the length of the contract. Request that all work be complete by December 1, 2024. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Liquidated damages are assessed at $300.00 per day. Funding for this project is provided by Federal Housing and Urban Development Community Block Grant program and the General Fund. Contract will be approximately $145,000. Contract can be extended by Change Order if both parties agree.
