As of July 5, 2024, project was awarded to Morgan Excavating L.P. with an awarded amount of $199,999.99. The Project consists of the following contracts: The installation of approximately 530 LF of 15" storm sewer along W. Crawford Avenue, between S. Pittsburgh Street and N. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons who are registered as having obtained Contract Documents. A bid bond or other security in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. Bidders must also submit with their bids the non-collusion affidavit, statement of bidders qualifications and DCED-CCD-268 MBE/WBE Section 3 Solicitation and Commitment Statement (the bidders must provide evidence of minority and women business enterprises and Section 3, who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made - documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid) contained in the contract documents. Certain Federal and State requirements govern work on the project including, but not limited to payment of prevailing wages (Davis Bacon), labor standards, non-discrimination in hiring and employment, PA Steel Procurement Act, minority and women business enterprise utilization, Section 3, etc. all of which are more fully described in the contract documents. The Connellsville Redevelopment Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
