Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Kingsford, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Kingsford will accept sealed bids from qualified contractors for concrete flat work for a future pavilion. Any questions in regard to the specifications or the project can be directed to Jeff DeMuri, Supt. Public Works Department. The city reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the city's best interest. 1. The project will be at the Ford Park in Kingsford off of Woodward Avenue and will include all the surface prep work for the flat work concrete pad. The concrete pad will have 12" compacted clean sand underneath and will be free of tree roots or any other material not suitable construction. The City will pick out a location for the concrete slab (roughly the 4 corners) and an elevation of the finished concrete. 2. The concrete flat work shall include a dimension of 20' x 28' with 12"x 16" footings with two rows of geo bars. The concrete shall be a thickness of 4" and use a 6 bag mix design with wire mesh. The finished concrete shall have a light broom finish 3. 1.5" PVC conduit will be placed to each corner post for future electric needs at the Pavilion. 4. The project is to be completed within 45 days from the notice of award. 5. The contractor shall provide proof of liability insurance and workers compensation insurance prior to commencing with work.
