Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Medina, Ohio. Working plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of August 19, 2025, the project is preparing for construction. The design/build contractors have been selected. Construction is expected to begin on August 25, 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Medina Township, Medina County Two printed copies of each SOQ are required for submittal along with one electronic copy in PDF format. The scope of work shall be to provide Design-Build services to construct a third entrance to Lake Medina that includes parking, storm water management, trails, native gardens, and public restrooms. All questions concerning the project must be submitted no later than Wednesday, to Director Nathan D. Eppink atneppink@medinaco.org or 330- 722-9364. Question Deadline Jul 03, 2024 at 2:00 PM BUDGET The total maximum cost for performance under this contract is $475,000 for all design, permitting, and construction of parking, trails, stormwater management, restrooms, a small outdoor amphitheater, and native gardens. Under separate contract, MCPD intends to develop plans for, and construct, a three-season or year-round facility that can accommodate up to 50 people. The selected design-build team must include space for such a facility in its plans.
