The Board of County Commissioners will accept sealed bids for the construction of a concrete masonry security platform within the Medina County Jail located at 555 Independence Dr., Medina, OH 44256. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject and/or accept any and all bids. Should a question arise at any time during the examination of Bid Documents or investigation of the Site, the Bidder may seek clarification by submitting Pre-Bid Questions. All Pre-Bid Questions should be submitted in writing to the County via email at cjakab@ohmedinaco.org. The county will provide a response to all questions submitted before the deadline of 4:00 PM (EST) on August 2, 2024. pROJECT STARTUP/COMPLETION Work shall be completed to the satisfaction of the County and the Project Manager. Should the work not be completed by the completion date, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages at the rate outlined in the Contract, in addition to the costs incurred by the County for inspection, supervision, and other documented related expenses. The selected contractor will be provided building access during the hours of 7:30 AM until 4 PM from Monday through Friday except for any days when the building is closed for an observed holiday. Any work to occur as part ofthe project that deviates from the scheduled hours and days as noted above shall require prior authorization and coordination from the County
